Start Here
Most people who land on a Start Here page have already clicked through 4 other pages and are mildly overwhelmed. Fair. Here's the short version.
Start with what is stressing you out the most.
That's my only rule. Whatever part of your finances is keeping you up at night, that's where you start. Everything else can wait a week.
If you've never had a real budget and you're ready for one that actually works, start with Budgeting. Every dollar gets a job before it gets spent. That's the foundation, and everything else gets clearer once the money is organized.
If you're carrying debt you've stopped looking at because you already know it's bad, start with Debt. You don't have to fix it today. But you should know what it actually costs.
If there's nothing left at the end of the month no matter how careful you try to be, start with Saving. A small buffer changes how the entire month feels.
If your credit score is either a mystery or a number you'd rather not say out loud, start with Credit. The system is less complicated than it looks from outside it.
If the budget math just doesn't work no matter what you cut, start with Earning More. Frugality has a floor. Income doesn't.
If you've been meaning to start investing for three years and haven't gotten there yet, start with Investing Basics. Zero assumed knowledge. We start from the ground up.
If something just happened, go to Life Moments. Job, baby, layoff, car you're already regretting. These are the articles you search for at 11pm.
Still not sure? Go to Budgeting. Getting the money organized first makes everything else easier to see.
